Dr. Joseph Parisi did my cataract surgery a couple of months ago. I am very satisfied with the outcome. I asked my regular eye doc (my Optometrist) who he would have to do it if he were having cataract surgery, and he told me Dr. Parisi is who he would go to. So, with that recommendation, I decided I would, too. I was ready to have the surgery and the first step was an extensive evaluation of my eyes. Dr. Parisi explained that it is more complicated when a patient has had LASIK surgery in the past. The main issue is getting the right strength lens implant for eyes that have been altered by LASIK.--apparently it can be tricky to get the right prescription. He gave me his recommendations for my surgery, and I had both eyes done, one week apart. It was a complete success as far as the lens implants went, which was a big concern for me. Everything else went well, too. It is a small thing, but Dr. Parisi has you use just one eyedrop once per day post-op. (The old way was to use three different drops three or four times per day. Yikes!) So, I was very pleased with my outcome and with the process getting there. The people in the office were great and the staff at the surgery center as well.
