Dr. Smith was an excellent ophthalmologist for our daughter. We moved to SC and saw Dr. Smith shortly after our last appointment with our previous ophthalmologist. It was night and day. Dr. Smith told us our daughter did need glasses (our last Dr. had said she didn't) and gave her a diagnosis (previous Dr. had said idiosyncratic condition aka no known cause). My daughter saw immediate improvement with the glasses and the diagnosis allowed us to join parent groups, understand our daughter's condition better, and ultimately my daughter's development improved. I highly recommend her. Office staff was always friendly and professional. They have a great waiting room for children, they do a good job of keeping kids entertained when they're waiting (like for dialation), and Dr. Smith is great with kids. Sometimes there was confusion with the billing.In my experience, DO NOT purchase your eye glasses here. We purchased three over the course of several years before I finally learned my lesson. They were always severely delayed. There was a confusion in where/when they were supposed to be delivered every time and they were totally expensive (we got the Miraflex frames). Again, DO NOT get your glasses here, at least not for the kiddos.
