I have a long story but I'll try to keep it brief.I woke up on 9/6/22 after a strange night's sleep where I had what I'll describe as a multicolored light show when I closed my eyes. I got up and went to my optometrist for a check. He inspected my eyes and said I needed to see an eye specialist. My wife was already a patient at Clemson Eye on Pelham Road so I got an appointment with Dr. Riddle.When Dr. Riddle inspected my eyes, he said there was significant optic nerve swelling. He quickly got me an appointment with a neurologist. My treatment from Dr. Riddle and the neurologist has been excellent.I am still have 20/20 vision with my glasses for which I'm very thankful. I believe that without the right care in my situation, I could have lost some of my vision.
