Ive had decent service for my family at this location until recently. My wife and son had appointments the same day over a month ago, both order new glasses after the exam. Next week my wifes glasses are in, 18 days later my sons glasses show up on a Friday right before they closed. So I pick them up the following Monday. Get home to find theyre not what we ordered, had paid extra to have the edges rolled and polished. So they reluctantly returned the glasses and we wait another 2-3 weeks for them to return. Only this time it appears they didnt feel removing the lenses from the frame was feasible so the just cut the edges down with a knife followed by an absolutely hideous polish job with a Dremel. We live 15 minutes away so thats an hour just in driving Ive wasted on this. Plus my high school age son that is already self conscious about his glasses now has to walk around with lenses that look like they have be cut out with a chisel. I was in a rush when I picked them up the second time and didnt have time to argue about. I did make a comment about the quality of work to which the lady replied she didnt want to return the glasses again. I may just let it slide because his old pair is still in good shape but we wont return to this place of business. All they had to do was take a quick glance at them when they came in and should have went right back out. Mostly the manufacturers fault but when they are the middle man youre responsible for correcting any problems.UpdateAfter returning a second time, theyve agreed to replace the pair at no cost. Also we got to keep the defective pair as a backup so Im happy with this and Ive changed my rating to reflect this.
