Dr. Espinosa earned his Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cartagena School of Medicine in Colombia. He later completed a Pan-American Research Scholarship and a three-year postdoctoral fellowship in macular diseases at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Later on at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, he served as Professor, Director of Vitreo-Retinal, Uveitis, and Ocular Immunology Services, and Director of the Vitreoretinal Fellowship. Dr. Espinosa has extensive experience as a retina specialist and is eager to serve his patients.
