Clemson Eye is thrilled to welcome Dr. Macy Sparks and Dr. Jordan Carlson to their team of Optometrists. Both doctors will help support multiple upstate locations. Dr. Macy Sparks is a Board-Certified Optometrist who practices full-scope optometry. Following undergrad, she earned her doctorate from Southern College of Optometry. She received the Second Year Clinical Science Award, Jerry L. Clay Endowed Scholarship and was given the Outstanding Clinician Award at graduation. Dr. Carlson is also a Board-Certified Optometrist who practices full-scope optometry. He completed rotations at Oklahoma Medical Eye Group in Tulsa, OK, Piedmont Eyecare in Charlotte, NC, and The Eye Center in Memphis, TN. Dr. Carlson became a student member of the South Carolina Optometric Association and earned the title of Student Fellow with the American Academy of Optometry. He also received various awards, including a private academic scholarship and the GP Lens Institute Clinical Excellence Award.
