Clemson Eye acquires new Corneal CellChek –XL, a diagnostic machine to measure the endothelial cells lining the back surface of the cornea. Certain conditions associated with abnormalities of this layer can lead to corneal problems especially after cataract surgery or with long term contact lens wear. Now, Clemson Eye’s physicians are better able to assess a patients risk with eye surgery or long term contact lens use.
