Rishi Singhal, MD is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and Retina Specialist who joined us from The Ohio State University Havener Eye Institute in Columbus, OH. Dr. Singhal completed a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Doctor of Medicine at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. While attending The George Washington University School of Medicine, he served as the American Medical Association University Chapter Vice-President. He then went on to complete a transitional year residency at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA where he was a Georgia Eye Bank Resident Research Fellow. Dr. Singhal went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at Penn State Hershey Eye Center, serving as the Resident Representative for the Ophthalmology Residency Program Evaluation Committee, as well as the Ophthalmology Chief Resident. Dr. Singhal has participated in many clinical trials and community service opportunities throughout his years in ophthalmology. He even traveled to Quito, Ecuador in 2018 for a medical mission trip where his team performed over 200 cataract and strabismus operations in partnership with Fundacion, Vista Para Todos.
