Today, bladeless LASIK is recognized as safer and more precise than the traditional bladed method, however, if you are over 45 and have lost your near vision, LASIK may not be the best vision correction option. Unless, you are comfortable with mono-vision (one eye for near and one for far), then LASIK cannot provide a range of vision like the advanced lens implants.
